Here is a few programming steps for your convenience.
Quick look in the user manual for the section on "Manufacturer codes for programming the remote." You will find more than one code for programming the device. Turn on your selected device.
On the top of your dish network remote control find the device button for the piece of equipment your wish to program (DVD, VCR, TV, AUX, CABLE/SAT). Select the desired device you wish to program by pressing the corresponding button on the dish network remote control.
Push and hold the select key until it flashes. Enter the first code for the selected device. If the code has been accepted the selected device key will flash 3 times. Next push the ON/OFF button on your remote control, your device should then turn off. If the device does not turn off, then repeat the steps and enter the next code. This procedure is repeated until the correct code is found.
If your code could not be found push the mode button for the desired device. Hold the selected device button down until it blinks.
Now use the (CH+) and (CH-) buttons to hunt for the correct code. Using a steady pace push the (CH+) button then the (ON/OFF) button repeatedly until the device turns off. If you think you skipped a code you can use the (CH-) button to get back to it.
